A large pharmaceutical sought to streamline and provide a common backbone for all operational, finance, manufacturing, supply chain, and plant maintenance processes while also absorbing an acquired multi-billion dollar biotech. Drove the need for shared services, alignment of global enterprise resource planning, improved efficiency and expense reduction, stronger business relationship by aligning business processes.

Consulting Services

Provided the program management on this PBM, transformation program. This program included over 500+ project personnel on four continents across the three phases. The three key systems that were implemented include SAP, Ariba and Inform along with other technical customizations, software, hardware, and infrastructure. The projects spanned four years with a $55MM budget. Beside project management and PMO development services, other consulting services were provided such as change management, resources planning, staffing, development and financial analysis.

Outcomes

All three phases were successful, according to the established schedule, under budget and beyond the scope initially planned. Benefits were realized, saving the organizations over $20MM per year. Gain Consulting was asked to continue to work each phase due to outstanding performance.
